“Garage protective service”

The Museum of the Garage of Special Purpose of the Federal Protective Service of Russia

The exhibition is based on a unique collection of cars — over 50 units of automobile and motorcycle equipment. Along with models from the garage of the last Russian Emperor and the leaders of the Soviet state and modern Russia, the collection includes escort cars and motorcycles of the Honorary Escort. The history of these vehicles is told with the help of multimedia technologies: wide-screens and touchpads will once again show foreign visits of the country’s top officials, and the memories of the Kremlin garage drivers will shed light on unknown episodes of the unit’s activities in different periods of Russian history.

The curtain of secrecy and harsh romanticism will be lifted in the exhibition dedicated to the history of the state security agencies of Russia. Rare exhibits, scientific research and archival materials will tell about the formation, development and strengthening of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation, which occupies an important place in the system of ensuring state security of the country.
